ERFURT, GERMANY - asola has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to ...
Erfurt, June 2010: At the beginning of May it was finally about time. In Verona, Italy´s leading exhibition for renewable energies, eco-friendly electricity production and ecological building takes place for the 11th time.
The upshot of Reinhard Wecker, CEO of asola, turns out excellent. „We are overwhelmed by the big interest and very positive feedback of our customers, which have been visiting us here. “ In the last year there have been comparatively many private customers at the exhibition, this year there were considerably more solar industry professionals, says Wecker pleased. Reinhard Wecker farther: „ The exhibition was a big success; we were able to deepen and extend existing business relations and were also able to gain many new customers “.
In Italy a boom of the solar industry becomes apparent, because the feeding law for renewable energies is similar to the German one. Sales director Marc-Johann Bollig looks towards the future optimistically: „Italy is an important part of our marketing strategy. At this time the business development in 2010 has already fulfilled our expectations ; This year is going to be a record year for asola on the Italian marked and is hence the perfect preparation for the further successful expansion in 2011.“
asola‘s high-class, powerful solar modules „Made in Germany“ were a true magnet for avid prospects, particularly the poly crystalline modules were of big interest. Those are producing an higher output than the mono crystalline cells under the Italian sun. This is because, if the ambient temperature is higher, the mono-cells have a slightly inferior temperature coefficient than the blue poly-cells. Another public magnet was the „fisker karma roof“ – an unique spherically curved solar roof, which will enter mass-production in 2010.
